China – MPA and JETRO continue to organize two IPR training seminars in Shenzhen and Hong Kong

On March 14 and 16, the MPA’s Greater China team and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) co-organized IPR training seminars in Shenzhen and Hong Kong attended by 232 government enforcement officials and covering anti-piracy issues, CJ Mark and the Internet Piracy. There was positive response from the floor and the local authorities immediately requested MPA to provide further training opportunities in the future.
On March 16, 105 enforcement officers from Hong Kong Customs attended an three and half hour IPR training session at the Hong Kong Film Archive. Albert Ho, Superintendent of the Intellectual Property Investigation Bureau of Hong Kong Customs delivered opening remarks and speakers included Sam Ho of MPA, Takero Goto of CODA and Yoichiro Iwamoto of Sunrise.
